College: Wetterstrom played four seasons of indoor volleyball at Michigan. As a senior she was second on the team in kills and digs. Wetterstrom ended her career with 624 kills, 400 digs and 109 blocks. She transferred to Florida State to play one year of beach volleyball but the season was cut short due to COVID. She had a 12-1 record on the beach.
Personal: Wetterstrom has a brother, Forrest, who played football at Western State Colorado University. Her grandfather played football and ran track at the University of Colorado and she had an uncle who was a Super Bowl champion while playing with the Washington Redskins. As a high school junior she was ranked 32nd in PrepVolleyball's Top 100 recruits. Following college Wetterstrom played professionally in Finland for two years before becoming a collegiate beach volleyball coach.
