College: Soeller was on the Tulane beach volleyball team has a freshman but did not play in any matches. She then transferred to Cal Poly, where she went 0-6 with four different partners as a sophomore. In her junior season Soeller finished 5-13, playing mostly with Emma Zuffelato on court four. She played primarily with Abbey Reinard on court five as a senior, and ended with a 7-2 record. Soeller played just one match as a graduate student, going 0-1 with Katie Clevenger on court four.
Personal: Soeller has one sister, Elise. In addition to playing volleyball in high school she also played two years of ultimate frisbee, and was the team captain in both of those sports. Soeller was named the school's Most Outstanding Female Athlete for three straight years.
