Beach Bits:
• McPeak is one of just five women worldwide to have competed in the first three Olympics in beach volleyball.
• She has won titles with seven different partners, and with five of them she has won in their partnership debut.
• McPeak has ranked in the top 10 six times on the AVP Tour and seven times on the FIVB Tour.
• In Marseille in July 2002, McPeak became the first woman worldwide to surpass $1 million in career earnings.
• McPeak held the record for most career wins from June 6, 2004 until May 20, 2007.

2008: Began a new partnership with Angie Akers, advancing to three semifinals.  2007: Played with four partners on the AVP Tour, with a best of second with Tom.  2006: Partnered with Nicole Branagh, playing in the semifinals in eight of 12 events including two finals. She also played twice with Logan Tom and once with Dianne DeNecochea. Competed internationally with both Branagh and DeNecochea.  2005: Formed a new partnership with Jennifer Kessy, advancing to 11 semifinals including two championship matches. The duo played in four FIVB tournaments with a best of seventh.  2004: McPeak and Youngs won four AVP titles, including the Manhattan Beach Open, garnering podium finishes in all 10 team events. The win in Manhattan Beach made McPeak the all-time winningest player, as it was her 68th, a record she would hold until 2007. Internationally they won two titles and collected six medals in eight tournaments. They finished the Olympic qualifying process ranked fourth in the world, and won a bronze medal in the Athens Games, marking the first ever Olympic medal for U.S. women.  2003: With Youngs, won once on the AVP Tour to go with seven second-place finishes. McPeak completed her second straight season advancing undefeated to the semifinals in every tournament. Internationally, McPeak and Youngs had a second-place finish in seven events.  2002: Began the year playing with Elaine Youngs, and the duo won the first three tournaments of their partnership. For the second straight season, McPeak finished as the top-ranked player on the AVP Tour after collecting five wins in seven events. On the FIVB Tour, McPeak and Youngs won four titles and garnered seven podium finishes in their eight tournaments.  2001: Played with Arce on the AVP Tour, winning once. Internationally she played eight times with Arce, in addition to playing the season opener with May-Treanor and the season finale with Kerri Walsh, finishing second.  2000: Won twice domestically with May-Treanor as well as three times on the FIVB Tour. In the Sydney Olympics, the duo placed fifth.  1999: Domestically played three times with both Reno and Gabrielle Reece, then won the first AVP Queen of the Beach. On the FIVB Tour, she played twice with both of those players as well as once each with Karolyn Kirby, placing 33rd, and with Misty May-Treanor, finishing ninth.  1998: Competed on the FIVB with Arce, getting a best of second place in eight events.  1997: Partnered with Arce, winning seven times domestically and twice on the FIVB Tour while earning medals in all seven tournaments.  1996: Played seven events with both Reno and Lisa Arce, winning four times with each including in the first event with Arce. On the FIVB Tour, began the year with four events with Reno, with a best of fourth. In the Atlanta Olympics the duo placed fifth. McPeak then played four more international events, winning with Arce in their first FIVB event.  1995: Reunited with Reno and won eight of 14 WPVA events, including the final five straight. On the FIVB Tour, McPeak and Reno placed third in McPeak's first international event, then won the next six tournaments. She finished the year playing twice with Rock.  1994: Played all but one event with Ciarelli, winning five times.  1993: Won her first title in the season opener in Phoenix playing with Angela Rock for the first time. On the year she won 11 of 16 events with four different partners. In addition to winning with Cammy Ciarelli in Manhattan Beach, she won with Linda Chisholm and Nancy Reno in her first tournaments partnering with each one. She advanced to the semifinals in everey tournament.  1992: Played 16 events with six partners, advancing to her first three semifinals.  1991: After a year of not playing, she began the year with two events with Bonnie Fisk. Then she formed a partnership with Barbra Fontana, getting fifths in their first two outings and a best of fourth on the season.  1989: Played three events with two different partners, with a best of ninth in Manhattan Beach.  1988: Played twice with Horning, finishing ninth each time.  1987: At the age of 18, McPeak made her pro beach volleyball debut in Santa Monica with Jill Horning, placing ninth, one of two such finishes on the year.

Hot Winter Nights: Played in nine HWN events in 2008, including three finals and winning in Bloomington. In 2009 she played in three HWN events.
College: A graduate of UCLA with a BA in English Literature, McPeak was named All PAC-10 and All-NCAA Team in 1990, and helped lead her team to the NCAA Championship. From 1987-89, she attended UC-Berkeley where she was voted NCAA Freshman of the Year.
Personal: McPeak was born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California and currently resides there. She has a twin bother (Gary), and a sister (Katie).
